Do you want a ton of money? Does this desire for more money equal happiness? Does the thought of a ton of money bring countless opportunities? Wanting a ton of money does not make the dream a reality. It makes the work extremely hard, frustrating and even a daunting task.

Going farther on the subject, how hard does one have to work to get a “ton” of money? Like, a physical ton of money.
According to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, all paper bills weigh the same: 1 gram. Therefore, about 454 grams make 1 pound, which means that a ton of:

1 dollar bills would be worth $908,000 (full time) 2080hr/yr $436.50/hr

dollar bills would be worth $181,600

5 dollar bills
would be worth $4,540,000

10 dollar bills
 would be worth $9,080,000

20 dollar bills
would be worth $18,160,000

50 dollar bills would be worth $45,400,000

100 dollar bills
 would be worth $90,800,000

… and so on and so forth ….

So, do you want a ton of money? If you do, you need to have a plan and a goal. A “ton of money" is completely attainable.  The plan and a goal are crucial to making the dream happen. Stop treating new opportunities as though they are the “Next Big Thing”. Because chances are it’s like buying a lottery ticket. And as much as we want to believe you’ve won… it’s always an old lady in Florida with 76 cats.

At the end of the day, you need to be an entrepreneur. You need to be a person who manages, organizes, takes S.M.A.R.T. risks and initiatives to get your “ton” of money. I say NEED because it is a MUST. There is no way you can make the ideal ton of money by working for someone else 40 – 60 hrs a week, unless you are the “Wolf of Wall Street”. (And he actually stole majority of his profits, btw.)

Focus on a product or service that will move you forward. Find something you are passionate about; something that can directly push you to achieving a specific goal. In doing this you can create your own wealth. You can build, or become an extension of a successful business. There is no get rich quick scheme. Chasing the money also doesn’t work. Get a firm foundation, strong principles, keep educating yourself, a plan, some goals and apply the knowledge.

Happy planning, in your quest for a “ton of money”!
